One of my favorite parts about therapy is the openness to explore. The space to explore what you've been through, where you are, and where you'd like to go. I know how difficult it can be to feel stuck, hopeless, or lost. If you've been impacted by trauma, feeling trapped, anxious, depressed, I want you to feel like there's a way to find peace or joy in ways that surprise you. I hope to support you in finding ways to move forwards and feel free from traumatic memories on repeat, anxiety that doesn't silence, or sadness that feels endless. I've been lucky to be present with many clients who feel relief and renewed excitement, and I wish that same feeling for you too. Let's explore together.
Play, imagination, and gentleness are three qualities that would best describe my way of being in therapy. I like to acknowledge what's in the therapy room. Not just you or myself, but that greater cultural contexts that are influencing or impacting us. I want you to feel understood and heard in your intersectionality, and that I am listening for points of systemic oppression or contexts that we may take for granted when trying to understand our feelings or experiences. You feeling comfortable and supported is the most important thing to me and I want you to find a therapist that helps you feel comfortable.
It's been incredible to have chosen a career where I get to go on a journey daily with so many wonderful people. I love to question and wonder what could be, sit with what has happened, and learn what you'd like to do with it all.

It is important to verify that any LMFT you are seeking has their license renewed and current.
Being present and a support to others has always been an important value of mine. I took this value and had my first job in the mental health field working as a resident assistant at residential facility to support folks working on recovering from addiction. I sat with clients through late nights, withdrawals, to new refreshing mornings and renewed body connection. I was able to observe the shifts at how many small holistic changes can accumulate, and how therapy helped client's maintain that growth.
It's been a gift to walk alongside so many different folks with different backgrounds and life experiences. I've done a lot of my therapy work with folks from the LGBTQ+ community and people who have polyamorous or ENM lifestyles. I also have worked with many historically marginalized community members of the global majority. It's important that you feel seen, understood, supported, and able to speak about these experiences in therapy. I strive to remain aware and accountable for how my intersectionality shows up in the room.
